When it became clear that I could only get $5000 from Intact Insurance after having had household policy coverage on the "outbuilding" for over ten years I had to repair the building myself.

Hiring a company to do so would cost about $50,000 and removal of the building about $25,000.

With the generous help from my son and he and I have worked for the past 4 months  repairing the damage.
